Bon Air Church, new pastor

Jeff Thomas is the new pastor of Bon Air Church. Thomas holds a degree from Baptist Bible Institute (now The Baptist College of Florida) in Graceville; a bachelor of science degree from Samford University in Birmingham; and a master of divinity degree from New Orleans Seminary. He has previously served churches in Alabama and Georgia, including Ridgeview Church, Talladega; Northside Church, Manchester, Ga.; Oldfield Church, Sylacauga; and Hopewell Church, Bessemer, until his retirement in 2009. Since retirement, he served as pastor of Fayetteville Church, Sylacauga, until July. He is married to Carolyn.
