Brooks Memorial Church, Atmore, staff change

Robert Heard is the new pastor of Brooks Memorial Church, Atmore. He previously served as administrative pastor for First Church, Pelham. He also has served other churches in Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia and North Carolina. Heard holds a bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in philosophy from Mobile College (now the University of Mobile) and master of divinity from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Kim, have three children. The church will hold an installation service Sept. 25, 10:30 a.m. Lunch will follow.
