Brookwood Church, Mountain Brook, staff change

Jim Haskell is the new pastor of Brookwood Church, Mountain Brook. Haskell comes to Brookwood after 16 years as senior pastor of First Church, Georgetown, Texas. He previously served a church in Texas and a church in Kentucky. A native of Hardeeville, S.C., Haskell received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and a master of divinity degree and a doctorate of ministry with an emphasis in pastoral administration of church growth strategy from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He and his wife, Linda, have two children.
