Brownfield: Malawi

On April 13 Bob went to Supelo Village (pronounced Sparrow) to do a meeting and show the “Jesus” film. The first visit was to the chief’s house, and Chief Supelo prayed to receive Christ. The chief told Bob and the other leaders that long ago he had been a member of another church in his village. The chief then admitted the church was The Watchtower (Jehovah’s Witness).

Bob forged ahead with about 45 minutes of teaching on the fallacies of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.When Bob prepared to leave, they opened the door of the house and found three Jehovah’s Witnesses sitting on the porch, waiting to speak with Chief Supelo and hearing all that was spoken inside. Bob and the local church leaders praised God that they were allowed to lead this chief to Christ before the Watchtower arrived that day. Chief Supelo was prepared, being armed with both the truth about Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Holy Spirit.
