Buddy Gray, pastor of Hunter Street Church, Hoover, has been named to the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission’s (ERLC) 2018 Leadership Council. He and JD Thorne, pastor of Point Mallard Parkway Church, Decatur, are the only Alabama Baptists serving on the 75-member council. Council members receive training from ERLC through events and conference calls. They provide counsel to commission staff and sometimes write for ERLC’s website.
