Q: What led you to start playing the piano?
A: I took music when I was a child and didn’t play for years. Then my husband and a friend of ours wanted to start singing in church. So I took some piano lessons and started playing for them.

Q: Why did you continue this activity?
A: I love music. I love the music part of worship service.

Q: What did the ministry demand?
A: It’s not a demand. It’s something you want to do.

Q: What did you get from the ministry?
A: I always receive a blessing anytime I can do anything for God. When you love the Lord, you just want to do your part.

Q: How did family members support you?
A: They did 100 percent. My husband and my son both love singing.

Q: What do you hope you
accomplished as church pianist?
A: I always wished that people got as much blessing out of it as I did.
