Canaan Church, Bessemer, Journey to Bethlehem

Canaan Church, Bessemer, will hold Journey to Bethlehem, which will include several events. On Dec. 12, the adult choir will present the musical “God Coming Down” at 6 p.m. On Dec. 18, there will be a children’s birthday party for Jesus from 9 a.m. to noon in the family chapel for ages 3 years old to sixth grade. On Dec. 19, there will be a special service called “The Christmas Visitor” at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Pastor Morgan Bailey will dress as a biblical character and tell the story of Jesus’ birth.
