During the chapel service at the University of Mobile on August 26, college students heard from Carlos Lollett, lead pastor of Reality Church in Miami, Florida.
As students head back to school at the University of Mobile, they also have the unique opportunity to hear from various leaders from within Southern Baptist Convention during their weekly chapel services on Wednesdays.
Thanks to a generous grant from the J.L Bedsole Foundation and other supporters, University of Mobile’s Bedsole library recently completed a major renovation.
Cars lined the University of Mobile campus on Aug. 14 as families arrived for Move-In Day, greeted by a familiar UM tradition: student leaders waving, cheering and rushing to each vehicle to help unload.
With the theme “Moving Forward Together”, the University of Mobile’s annual Ignite Conference brought faculty and staff together to celebrate God’s faithfulness and foster community ahead of a new academic year.
Pastors and ministry leaders across the Gulf Coast are invited to join the University of Mobile and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for the Practices of Christ-Centered Preaching Workshop.
The countdown is on.
“We don’t need to be afraid about sharing our faith,” said 13-year-old Paisley Welch of First Baptist Church Hazel Green, Alabama. “I want to have a good base on how to be a leader and to lead in the Christian faith.”
