First Church, Pleasant Grove, will host Ladies Weekend 2007 Feb. 23–24. Kay DeKalb Smith will speak, and Charlotte Guffin will be the praise and worship

Bower Memorial Church, Evergreen, will host a retirement reception for Pastor Hughie Denton Feb. 24, 2–4 p.m., in the new fellowship hall.

Liberty Church, Painter, will host Ergun Caner, president of Liberty Seminary at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., May 27 in the morning and evening services.

Crawford Church, Mobile, will celebrate its 50th anniversary Feb. 25. There will be a worship service at 9:45 a.m., followed by dinner on the grounds
