Ethalee Hamric, a member of Liberty Park Church, Birmingham, died Nov. 15. She was 96. Hamric worked for Home Life magazine of the Southern Baptist

Courtland Church will hold a live nativity Dec. 20–21, 6–8 p.m., in the Courtland Park Square. There will be hot chocolate, coffee, chili and stew.

Grantswood Church, Irondale, will hold Live Nativity Dec. 20–22, 7–9 p.m. There will be soup, chili and a visit with Santa Claus in the fellowship

Macedonia North Church, Vincent, will hold a live nativity walk Dec. 16, 4:45 p.m. Handicap assistance will be available. Hot chocolate and snacks will follow
