A recent Birmingham-area workshop showed how any veteran and first responder who deals with post-traumatic stress disorder and moral injury can be helped by others to obtain the health that God has planned for them.
More than 200 women in ministry received guidance on “Becoming Who We Really are in Christ,” during a recent conference at the Center for Women in Ministry at Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School.
Revolving around the theme of “Persuasive Preaching: Story, Imagination and Apologetics,” the conference was organized by Beeson’s Robert Smith Jr. Preaching Institute’s Spirit and Power Project.
Author Rosaria Butterfield will be the featured speaker, sharing her conversion experience to Christ and teaching from her book “Five Lies of our Anti-Christian Age.”
The theme, Rooted in His Love, is based on Ephesians 3:14–21. Guest speakers include Jo Carwile, Missy Lundy, Pam Atcheson, Candace McIntosh and Julie Boyd.
