In Maryland and Delaware, only 14 of the 60 colleges and universities have some kind of Baptist ministry going on. In Alabama, which has the same number of campuses, 44 have Baptist campus ministers at work.
During his sermon, Phil Waldrep said the most effective form of evangelism is loving people. He challenged churches to love people well, not show favoritism and call people by name to show them that they’re cared for.
Eden Westside Baptist Church in Pell City showed that even if a church closes, it’s not necessarily the end. On Jan. 12, its River Campus in Leeds celebrated its 10th anniversary.
