Steve Dye, Deaf ministry catalyst for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, said a new film about Jesus released June 20 in American Sign Language with English subtitles was “more than we could have imagined.”
“The challenges we face stem from a fundamental lack of compassion, empathy and genuine understanding. We have lost sight of the importance of deep, meaningful dialogue. It’s up to us to invest time and energy into building relations.”
Not only does justification mean that we are acquitted of all charges along with their rightful penalty, but that we are also fully accepted into right standing before God.
More than 200 students from 32 churches across the state and a team of over 100 Alabama Baptist ministry leaders gathered on the University of Mobile campus July 8–12 for Super Summer Alabama 2024.
