University of Mobile vocal ensemble Voices of Mobile begins a summer 2024 tour that will be a “great opportunity to share the gospel and tell our University of Mobile story,” says Roger Breland, the group’s executive director.
New grants have helped purchase a trailer that can serve as a refrigerator and freezer for the Rolling Food Pantry, a bus designed to provide fresh food to people in Montgomery’s River Region.
A recent survey of churches finds that in 2023, Southern Baptist-affiliated congregations experienced increases in baptisms, average weekly worship attendance and average small group attendance.
“We don’t have to be in need and despair. We don’t have to lose hope,” says Marian Jordan Ellis, Bible teacher and author of the new devotional book “Garden to Garden: Through the Bible From Eden to Eternal Paradise.”
