Jeff Iorg, retiring president of Gateway Seminary, has been elected as the next Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee president/CEO. The vote came during a special-called trustee meeting in Dallas today (March 21).
An estimated 11 million Americans serve as caregivers to Alzheimer’s and dementia patients – people like 74-year-old Grady Caldwell, a full-time pastor and caregiver to his wife, Kathleen.
“We should focus our energies and invest our limited resources in … established businesses (not in gambling ventures). … Solid jobs with solid companies build solid communities,” said Kay Ivey in 2010 when serving as state treasurer.
“Purpose is not found in a mission, a vision, a calling, a new idea. Purpose is found in your purpose Giver. Focusing on Him will clear the path,” says Anna Nash, founder and director of Beacon People.
Marvin Smith served as a pastor and supply pastor of several churches in Alabama, including serving as pastor of County Line Baptist Church in Hampden from 2007 to 2012. He also served as moderator of Bethel Baptist Association.
