Birmingham’s Lifeline Children’s Services provides care for children and families, continuing to develop ministry opportunities and resources since their founding in 1981.
In Alabama, approximately 6,000 children are currently in the foster care system. Children enter this system for various reasons, including abuse, neglect, abandonment and socio-economic factors, among others.
“Sometimes I think about it and I ask God why. But I know God brought us here and took care of us, so I know in the future it will be the same,” she said. “No matter what, He will take care of us.”
