Chilton Baptist Association Director of Missions Larry Felkins presented a check totaling $5,500 to Pastor Terrence Jones of Strong Tower at Washington Park, a church plant in Montgomery, in March as the kickoff to the new partnership between the two organizations.
Chilton Association recently announced that they would be supporting the church monthly in the amount of $500. This partnership is set to last 3–5 years. Additionally, Chilton Association gifted Strong Tower with a one-time grant of $5,000. Strong Tower is a member of Montgomery Baptist Association.
Chilton Association also is currently in partnership with two other church plants, The Church at Pike Road near Montgomery and West Bank Baptist Church in New Orleans. (Sarah Gill)
