She came all the way to China to serve God and found out that He was already working in a mighty way.
Lister to her story: “When I went to China to prayerwalk, we had orientation in Hong Kong. During our free time I went on what was the most crowded subway ride of my life to what is billed as the most densely-populated square mile in the world.
“On one corner a skyscraper was being renovated. On the plywood board covering the outside, someone had drawn the gospel story from creation to eternity in heaven. Without a word being spoken, we clearly understood the message. And God’s message to me was that I might think I was special, coming all this way to prayerwalk. But He actually was already at work, and was just allowing me this opportunity of joining Him.”
There is great cause for rejoicing in locations all over China. One couple working in a south China city reports that through their extended ministry, 100 people have accepted the Lord during the last six months.
Another worker shares that the first believers among an ethnic group they have been targeting have planted seeds for a second church start.
Yet another worker tells of returning to a village where 100 people prayed to receive Christ late last year and finding them hungry for discipleship and training.
