Samuel “Pike” Smith is the new associational missionary for Choctaw Baptist Association. He previously served as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Linden, for more than nine years.
Additional ministry experience includes serving as pastor of other churches in Alabama and Mississippi; moderator and vice moderator for Bethel Baptist Association and vice chair of Bethel Association’s mission strategist search team. He also has taken missions trips to Mexico and Israel.
Smith earned bachelor and master degrees in biblical studies from Ebenezer Christian Seminary, Bailey, Mississippi, and is currently working on a doctor of ministry degree. He and his wife, Melissa, have one daughter.
