The Judson College Concert Choir began its spring tour in Alabama churches Feb. 12 in preparation for its visit to the British Isles March 23–April 3.
Titled An American Sampler, the show includes early American hymns, spirituals, gospel songs and contemporary worship music.
The choir’s Alabama tour includes performances at First Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove; First Baptist Church, Fort Payne; Lake Highland Baptist Church, Birmingham; Siloam Baptist Church, Marion; and First Baptist Church, Selma.
Concerts in Great Britain will be performed in Tywyn and Barmouth in Wales and Wellington, York, Coventry, Leicester and Canterbury in England. Roger Walworth is director of the choir and Elizabeth Hostetter is accompanist.
