Chris Kynard is the new pastor of Linden Baptist Church. His first Sunday was Feb. 2. He previously served as pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church. He also has served at Bassett Creek Baptist Church, Grove Hill; Taylorville Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa; and Calvary Baptist Church, Linden.
He holds degrees from University of Alabama, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Kynard also currently serves as a trustee for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.
He and his wife, Diana, have been married for 26 years and have four children. (Linden)
