Christian Way Baptist in Camden celebrates 25th anniversary

Christian Way Baptist Church, Camden, celebrated its 25th anniversary Feb. 8. A prayer of thanksgiving was given by deacon James Finklea, and Jacqueline Winn shared highlights of the church’s history. Ernestine Shannon led in a special anniversary song of worship, and church musician T. Dukes accompanied. The church was honored with a presentation from Jim Lambert, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, who presented a plaque with pastor Charles Autery accepting on behalf of the congregation. Dinner was served following the service.
