Chulafinnee Church, Heflin, new pastor

Chulafinnee Church, Heflin, called Philip R. Morris as pastor effective Jan. 1. Morris previously served at Heflin Church for 18 years and retired there Dec. 31, 2013. He was the longest serving full-time pastor in Cleburne Association upon his retirement. Morris is a 1991 graduate of Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters.
