Clairmont Springs Baptist celebrates 150th anniversary

Clairmont Springs Baptist Church, Talladega, celebrated its 150th anniversary Aug. 11 with special music and presentations from the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission.

Clairmont Springs Baptist celebrates 150th anniversary

Clairmont Springs Baptist Church, Talladega, celebrated its 150th anniversary Aug. 11, beginning with a concert by Promised Land southern gospel trio from Fosters (near Tuscaloosa).

Randy Harrelson, a former pastor, was the guest preacher. Special presentations were given by Richie Farrow, associational missionary, and Wendy Westerhouse, executive director of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission.

Nick Jordan, deacon chair, received the presentations on behalf of the church.
