Riddles Bend Baptist Church, a multigenerational Southern Baptist congregation in Rainbow City, Alabama, is seeking a Spirit-led, biblically grounded Senior Pastor. This full-time role requires a devoted leader who will faithfully preach the Word of God, shepherd the congregation, and guide the church in fulfilling its mission to love God, love people, and make disciples.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering sound, Scripture-based sermons
- Providing pastoral care and spiritual counseling
- Leading the church’s vision, ministries, and outreach efforts
- Overseeing church operations in cooperation with staff, deacons, and ministry teams
- Supporting evangelism, disciple-making, and missions
- Ensuring alignment with the Baptist Faith and Message
Candidates should meet the biblical qualifications for pastoral leadership (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9), be ordained within the Southern Baptist Convention, and preferably hold a theological degree with at least five years of ministry experience. Relocation to the Rainbow City area is expected.
Compensation will be based on education, experience, and ministry expertise.
