The teens and college students of Clements Church, Athens, will hold the 30 Hour Famine Nov. 16–17. The event will raise money for those struggling with hunger worldwide, and funds raised will go to the countries of Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia to provide nourishment, medicine and life-saving care. The church’s goal is to raise $15,000 for World Vision, who will ensure the funds get to these areas of need. For information call Justin Bedingfield at 256-729-1328, email justin@clementsbaptist.org or visit www.clementsbaptist.org. Tim Anderson is pastor.
