Volunteers organize cakes, cookies, cupcakes, homemade candy and cake mixes for Coffee Baptist Association’s annual donation to the Alabama Baptist Children’s Homes & Family Ministries (ABCH). The goodies are used in ABCH sites around the state. Collected at the associational office, the ‘Coffee Cakes’ ministry started in 1927. Pictured here are (l to r): Leon Adams, pastor of Park Avenue Baptist Church, Enterprise; Judy Hataway, member of Lee Street Baptist Church, Enterprise; Peggy Clinansmith, member of Lee Street Baptist; and Kay Wilson, member of Zion Chapel Baptist Church, Jack. This year more than 500 items were collected and donated to ABCH.
