Coffee Springs church transitions pastorate father to son

Eden Baptist Church, Coffee Springs, recently celebrated a transition of leadership from father to son. Dennis Schank retired as pastor of Eden, having served there for five years. During his 60 years of ministry, he also served churches in Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida. He and his wife, Linda, have one son, Jadon Schank, who is the new pastor of Eden Baptist. He is a graduate of Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. He is a retired chaplain assistant from the Alabama National Guard and currently serves as a hospice chaplain.
