On a positive note, Fu Mei, our first lady we baptized in Pingtung, is reporting God’s hand at work in that area. She has three young ladies doing discipleship classes with her now and planning on being baptized at the end of August. Two of the young ladies are two more of her nieces and that makes Fu Mei doubly happy. She has others interested but is having to wait until she finishes the classes with these three before she will have time to do more.
The Pingtung church secured permission to remove the wall from the duplex apartment which doubled their worship space and they are now running close to 40 every week in the Sunday worship service. On Saturday night they are having about 15 to 20 in the youth group and about 12 in a college and career group.
Here in Miaoli we held a family English camp Aug. 4–8. The children had activities similar to Vacation Bible School. The adults experienced an English Bible study.
September 12 the Agape Puppet Ministry from Georgia will join us for two weeks of ministry in Taiwan. We are excited about this group coming and look forward to seeing what the Father wants to do in reaching children through puppets.
