Compromising

Thank you for your recent editorials relating to the proposed changes of the Baptist Faith and Message as well as dealing with the Baptist beliefs of soul competency and the priesthood of the believer. This is why I am a Baptist. I want to continue to be a Southern Baptist, but I am unwilling to compromise my beliefs of soul freedom, Bible freedom, church freedom and religious freedom.

Alas, if God should call a woman to pastor a Southern Baptist church; this arbitrary man-made prohibition would prevent it and she would be turned away. Will we never learn that God’s bus has no back seats; that He has no second class citizens of His kingdom?
