Concord Church, Clanton, will celebrate homecoming and its 118th anniversary Sept. 17. Spoken For will provide special music at 10 a.m. and former pastor Doug Powell will speak at 11 a.m. There will be no afternoon or evening services. Lunch will be at noon. Pine Level Baptist Church, Louisville, celebrated its 150th anniversary Oct. 11–12.
Central Baptist Church, Florence, celebrated its 125th anniversary Nov. 23.
Camp Ground Baptist Church, Ozark, celebrated its 175th anniversary Sept. 28. Al Sonanstine, a former pastor, was the guest preacher, and Chris Woodall, another former pastor, led in prayer and recounted the history of the church.
Piney Grove Baptist Church, Ardmore, celebrated its 175th anniversary Nov. 9. During the service video greetings were shown from three former pastors: Joe Plunkett, Ray Stonecypher and Aaron Armstrong, who also gave the closing prayer.
