CP 1.26 percent ahead through first quarter

NASHVILLE — Year-to-date contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) portion of the Cooperative Program (CP) are 1.26 percent ahead of the same time frame at the end of 2014 and 1.85 percent under the SBC CP Allocation Budget projection for the year according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and CEO Frank S. Page.

The $45,762,032.53 received from Oct. 1, 2015, through Dec. 31, 2015, for distribution through the CP Allocation Budget represents 98.15 percent of the $46,625,000 year-to-date budgeted amount to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America. The total is $568,051.82, or 1.26 percent, above the 2015 first quarter total of $45,193,980.71.

CP allocation receipts for SBC work totaled $13,948,903.24 in December 2015. Designated gifts received in December 2015 amounted to $3,748,815.09.
