Contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) Cooperative Program (CP) for July 2007 totaled $17,166,646.84 — 5.14 percent, or $838,536.90, ahead of the $16,328,109.94 received in July 2006, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee President and Chief Executive Officer Morris H. Chapman.
Year-to-date contributions through the CP are 2.71 percent ahead of the same time frame in 2006.
As of July 31, the year-to-date total of $172,141,653.97 for CP Missions is $4,539,069.57 ahead of the $167,602,584.40 received at the same point in 2006.
For the SBC CP Allocation Budget, the year-to-date total of $172,141,653.97 is 105.42 percent of the $163,290,352.13 budgeted to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America. The SBC operates on an Oct. 1–Sept. 30 fiscal year. (BP)
