NASHVILLE — Cooperative Program (CP) receipts for May of $16,496,303.09 were 1.73 percent, or $289,713.39, below the $16,786,016.48 received in May 2005.

Year-to-date contributions are 1.23 percent above the same time frame in 2005. As of May 31, 2006, the year-to-date total of $134,091,968.39 for CP giving is $1,630,045.02 above the $132,461,923.37 received at the same point in 2005.

Designated giving of $147,781,595.66 for the same year-to-date period is 6.09 percent, or $9,577,034.88, below gifts of $157,358,630.54 received at this point last year.

The $15,908,923.13 in designated gifts received in May 2006 is $10,137,400.97 below the $26,046,324.10 received in May 2005, a decrease of 38.92 percent.

For the Southern Baptist Convention CP Allocation Budget, the year-to-date total of $134,091,968.39 is 105.94 percent of the $126,576,836.64 budgeted to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.
