Robert “Moses” Clark is the new pastor of Crestview Baptist Church, Prattville. He had been serving as interim pastor since January and has a strong tie to the church, which was founded in 1957 by Clark’s father, Garner McLaurin Clark.
Clark grew up at Crestview and started out in ministry there, serving on staff with his father from 1977 through 1986. He also previously served as youth and music pastor of First Baptist Church Pell City and as a worship pastor in Georgia and South Carolina. In 2018, he considered himself semi-retired, serving as interim and supply for music or preaching.
Clark holds a bachelor of church music degree from Samford University and a master of arts degree in religious education from Southwestern Seminary. He and his wife, Karen, have two children and four grandchildren.
