Dale Jones is the new pastor of First Church, McCalla. He holds a degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham. He previously served as music minister at Community Church, Maylene; and also has served as music and youth minister for several other Alabama churches. He has also served as editor of the Western Star, Foley Onlooker and Trussville Tribune. Jones has three children and three grandchildren.
Upon being introduced as Samford University’s 37th head football coach on Thursday (Dec. 4), John Grass vowed to construct championship-caliber teams that are tough and locally sourced.
