National youth evangelist David Nasser and the Dove Award-winning group By the Tree will be performing at En Fuego in Verbena Oct. 5. Nasser has participated in Alabama Baptist evangelism conferences in the past.
En Fuego is Spanish for on fire, and the one-day rally seeks to bring students from junior high to college ages closer to God through worship and praise.
The event is held outside. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m.; the rally will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 9:30 or 10 p.m. Admission will be taken at the gate. For more information, visit En Fuego’s Web site at www.enfuegoinfo.com.
