Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, will hold The Dawson Bridal Event Jan. 31, 9:30 a.m.–noon. The first 100 brides will receive a special gift. There will be area vendors for brides to sample cakes, see floral arrangements and the latest gowns from   Carriage House Weddings.
