Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, festival and seminar

Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, will host its annual family fall festival Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. in the family recreation center. Dawson Memorial will also host Hope for the Holidays, a grief seminar for the greater Birmingham community, Oct. 28, 10 a.m.–noon, in the fellowship hall. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. Sponsored by Community Grief Support Service and Ridout’s Funeral Service, the event will feature author, speaker and workshop facilitator Rob Anderson.
