Dawson Memorial Church, Birmingham, will hold a women’s health program titled The Latest in Diagnosis and Treatment of Breast Cancer with Dr. Susan B. Winchester Oct. 14, 4–5:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall. Dawson will also hold RISE (Recharge. Inspire. Support. Encourage.), a fellowship group for those with serious illnesses, Oct. 16, 6–7 p.m., in the North Building Room 257. The group will meet every Tuesday until Nov. 13. Dawson will also hold a Caregiver’s Support Group Oct. 18, 5:30–7 p.m., in the North Building Room 253. The group will continue to meet the third Thursday of each month.
