‘Day of Prayer’ for students

‘Day of Prayer’ for students

Gov. Robert Bentley has proclaimed March 28 “Day of Prayer Over Students Across Alabama.” First Priority, joined by Moms in Prayer, will coordinate this prayer emphasis.

First Priority, which coordinates hundreds of local school Christian campus clubs, is encouraging Alabamians to pray for students as they are faced with challenges such as peer pressure to abuse drugs and alcohol, negative influences in the media, school violence and gang activities, fear and low self-esteem.

First Priority and Moms in Prayer are offering churches and communities resources to get involved with “Day of Prayer.”
