Following the theme “Be the leader God intended you to be,” this former pastor and current evangelist clearly and accurately highlights the qualifications and ministry of deacons. The author wrote, “To be an effective leader, a deacon must have a right relationship with Christ, his family, his church, his pastor and with himself.”

Needless to say, far too many churches elect deacons but neglect to provide training and orientation. This tome adequately and appropriately addresses that need.
