Deerfoot Church, Trussville, staff change

James Long is the new minister of education and administration for Deerfoot Church, Trussville. He previously served as minister of education and ministries for MeadowBrook Church, Gadsden, for six years. He also has served First Church, Trussville, and First Church, Prattville. Long holds a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and master of religious education from New Orleans Seminary. He and his wife, Shirley, have two children and seven grandchildren. Roger Willmore is pastor.
