When you remember that some of Diamond Rio’s biggest hits were songs like “I Believe,” “One More Day” and “Mama Don’t Forget to Pray for Me,” it’s easy to accept that the transition for the multi-platinum country music super group from a secular label to a Christian one was as simple and natural as a do-si-do.

And when you hear the trademark harmonies and impeccable instrumentation of the 11 as-ready-for-the-radio-as-ever songs of their 11th full-length record, you’re reminded that Christian music isn’t a genre but a choice. So is buying “The Reason.” It’d be a good one.
