Barbara Joiner. Birmingham, Ala.: New Hope Publishers, 2005. 227 pp. (Hardback).
Quite frankly, this newest work by this extremely talented and popular speaker is probably her best, so far. Admittedly I am a bit prejudiced because she is a dear friend of this reviewer and his wife.
Writing with a servant spirit, Barbara Joiner provides a collection of 100 stories and poems. It is all here: excitement, suspense, humor and challenge. Appropriately the publisher writes: “Barbara’s record for reaching out, coupled with a delightful talent for story-telling, has endeared her to audiences for decades and will make this book a classic for years to come.”
This reviewer agrees enthusiastically.
