DOMs honor retired missionaries

As retired missionaries to Japan, Jackie (left) and Wayne Emanuel (right) participate in a retired missionaries appreciation luncheon hosted by Birmingham-area Baptist associations — Bessemer, Birmingham, North Jefferson and Shelby — Jan. 19 at The Club in Birmingham. Also helping sponsor the luncheon were several area, state and national Baptist ministries. About 100 retired missionaries and friends attended the event.
