Cindy Raley always dreamed of being a mother. Three months ago the Riverchase Baptist Church, Birmingham, member became the adoptive mother of a 14-year-old girl who has been her foster daughter for three years. When circumstances resulted in her ward being put up for adoption, Raley didn’t hesitate to volunteer for permanent role of mother. “It’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done,” Raley said.
