John Bevere. New York: Warner Faith, 2006. 304 pp. (Hardback).
The basic thrust of this compelling treasure is that all people will live forever and, therefore, need to make preparation to live eternally with Christ in heaven.
Author John Bevere, a popular television preacher, contends, and rightly so, that this preparation is made by committing one’s life to Christ as Savior and Lord.
Here Bevere draws on principles in 2 Corinthians 5:9–11 as he urges readers to prepare for eternity.
Additionally he espouses the premillennial view of the Second Coming of Christ, a doctrine not held by this reviewer.
While this volume is evangelistic in that its author urges people to trust Christ, it also challenges us who are Christians to share Christ with non-Christians through lip service and life service.
