A new coffee shop opened recently in our community, so we spoke with the owners about beginning a Bible study that would meet in their place of business. The Lord has honored this new ministry by allowing us to make contact with a wide range of people; He has also blessed the owners of the coffee shop by greatly increasing their business on the night we are there.
Our Sunday morning times of worship have continued to grow not only in attendance but also in the effectiveness of change in the lives of our people. The services have become so enhanced by Genée’s leadership in singing, with our people becoming more familiar with the music and allowing themselves to freely worship the Lord.
We have also begun practicing the Lord’s Supper on a monthly basis, and we will be baptizing again soon since we have had a young man come to receive Christ recently.
Your support of the Lord’s work through our lives is greatly appreciated. You are truly a tremendous partner to us in accomplishing the task of reaching new people with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

• for continued encouragement to our family as we are still striving to build friendships with others and to adjust to the changes of living in a different culture from the one with which we were so familiar in Alabama.
• or the salvation of individuals who have been attending some of our worship services and Bible studies.
• for those who have become a part of our church plant, that they would begin taking greater responsibilities of leadership and that Jason would be able to disciple them toward this goal.
• for the continued growth of the Bible study that is meeting at the coffee house. We are hoping to continue meeting new people and that we will soon be able to start a new Bible study on a different night and in a different location.
• for the changes that are currently taking place at the North American Mission Board and within the Baptist Convention of Pennsylvania/South Jersey. Please pray that the Lord will grant His wisdom to those whom are making important decisions regarding new directions for strategies and for leadership.
