East Pointe Baptist Church, Spanish Fort, on mission

Twenty-nine people from East Pointe Baptist Church, Spanish Fort, in Baldwin Baptist Association went to Belfast, Maine, June 20–26 to work with Little River Baptist Church for the second consecutive year.

The team painted the interior of Little River Baptist, took goody baskets to city employees, visited two nursing homes and held a block party.

“Maine is one of the most unchurched states in the nation,” said Rob Burns, pastor of East Pointe Baptist. “It’s a way for us to help reach our own nation for the Lord.”
